    My Spoiled Critters

That's what I'm calling Duke and Doogie now. I went to Petco yesterday and spent a lot of money on them. I bought them both new beds. Doogie had been sleeping in Duke's and sweet Duke would sleep on the floor instead of making the cat move. He's such a good dog. His old bed was a cheapy from Big Lots with not near enough padding. This one I got him is so nice! It's very thick and squishy and is suede/fleece type covered. It's going to be hard to keep vaccumed but I'm going to try. I might have to take it to get dry cleaned, depending how expensive it is. Anyway, when I first brought these home, Duke sniffed and sniffed. No telling what kind of interesting smells were on that bed.

Here's Doogie in his new bed. I hope he likes it.

    Sniff sniff

    All comfy now

    more in next.....

I had ordered Doogie a little cat tent. It has a mouse hanging down and he immediately started playing with it.

I had to help him inside. Hold cat with one hand and tent with the other. I ordered this from a magazine. There is nothing to hold the bottom down so when he tries to get in it, it just slides on the carpet. Going to have to figure out something.

    Happy kitty

They both deserve to be spoiled! Donna must be so happy that Doogie & Duke are getting along so remarkably well, and you must be pleased as well! What an awesome pair of guys you have! Keep on spoiling them, and keep the pictures coming!

From looking at the tent, it has a fabric bottom (smooth), correct? If so, than you can use the hook half of "Hook and Loop" fasteners to hold the tent to the carpet. Should be able to find them at any hardware store.

A solution to keep the cat tent from sliding, would be to put a piece of the rubbery mat that people put under throw rugs to keep from sliding...they kinda have a waffled pattern to them...i have seem them as placemats too, so you could buy one of them too, to put under it...if you are unsure what i am talking about, i can look online...but it should work...

BTW, your pets are very lucky to have a mom like you...they look very comfy on there new beds!!

Happy??? You BET I'm happy. He looks wonderful, Val!! I put Doogie in his tent as a background on my computer. He puts a smile on my face.

How about velcro?? Or you can try getting some rubber cabinet liners and put that underneath.

You are definitely spoiling them rotten. Couldn't have asked for a better home for my boy!!

Awww.. Does Doogie still get those crusties in his eye? Poor boy. He's still adorable though. And both of their beds look soooooooo comfy, especially Duke's!

Can't wait to see that boy on Monday! Neither can Simba.
