My husband got custom lasik done

My husband got custom lasik done Wednesday. By Thursday he was able to see 20/15 out of both eyes. No side effects, and absolutly no pain whatsoever. Just thought I would share some good news about Lasik.

Isn't it wonderful what they can do not... I have wore glasses for so long that I feel naked without them on... And the tinted lens hide some of the dark circles that have always been under my eyes.

Good for him! That's great! I've worn glasses for so long that I've got a poor blink reflex - I just know something coming toward me will hit my glasses, not my eyes! But it sounds like it went perfectly for him. Congratulations!

It's nice to hear the good side of lasik as well. I've heard some not-so-wonderful stories too. I've thought about it but due to the cost & long term effects I'm not sure about it yet. I think my husband is more concerned than I am at this point. He thinks I might go blind or something! It would be nice to get rid of these glasses after having them for 19 years of my life!

How's your husband now? I'm having my eyes done on January 14th and I'm a little scared. I'm also worried my eyes will change and I will need it again
