    Magoo Payback!

I got even this morning for the Goo Poo that Magoo put on my pillow!
Normally I feel so guilty about taking Goo to the vet. I worry and stress like crazy because I hate having to disorient him so much. This morning I had a grin on my face! All the way to the vet I kept telling him that as payback for what he did to my pillow I was going to get his butt shaved!
We get there and the doc drains his eye and then gets out the electric clippers. With a vet tech scruffing him, hubby holding from the side, doc has him by the tail, the trimming begins. I take one look at the poor forlorn pitiful face of Magoo and I turn into mush! We get everything done, get him home, open the carrier door and you know what he does? He runs straight to me and starts lovingly rubbing all over my leg! He has NEVER EVER done that before! Of course I start going nuts and hugging, kissing, and loving all over the Goo Man. I felt so bad for feeling evil this morning so I guess the little stinker wins again!!! Who got payback in the end? ME, of course!

Here is a picture the Gooster's eye before the draining

Here he is after his ordeal
    No more Mr. Puffy

And only on PT can you come and see a photo of a Goo butt!! I know it may not look like much has been removed but I can assure you that Mr. Hairy Behind is missing a lot of fur!

Hubby promptly fed Mr. Goo a slice of deli turkey for all his stress and Goo promptly barfed it all back up. He is now resting peacefully recovering from his morning ordeal. Hubby is grinning from ear to ear and keeps reminding me that Magoo is dreaming of ways to get even with me! OH GREAT!!!

I can almost smell him from here! Poor Gooey Butt! Glad all went well at the vets, and he looks so much happier. You'll have to trade pillows with hubby to get even LOL!

    Is there nothing sacred?????

He runs straight to me and starts lovingly rubbing all over my leg!
He's probably thinking, "Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU MAMA for helping get rid of that nasty stink!!"

I am so amazed at how well he has adjusted to everything, Lisa. How long have you had him now??

Give him smoochies for me. I just love that boy!

Yes, all that loving when you got home was him showing you how happy he is that you helped get that nasty off of him.. You know what clean creatures these babies are and I know he was totally embarressed and outdone that he was like that. He knows, he KNOWS that Meowmie helped him and he was SOOooo glad that she did. His eye feels better and so does his butt. Poor baby!

    Goo, is that you ???

    LOL, Richard!

Oh Magoo, I can certainly sympathize with you ... little Angel has problems with "cling-ons" too ... just one of the drawbacks to having a fluffy behind!

    We love you Goo Goo!!!!

Richard I have no doubt that one look at that picture and I would find another restaraunt!!!

Magoo has settled down but seems a bit confused. He's not sure about playing with me right now. I think, that he thinks if he plays too rough I will haul him back to the doc! Poor Goo. At least he smells better!

Jods you sure have been paying attention. Thank you for answering Corinna for me.

Donna, Goo has been here since April. It sure seems longer doesn't it?

    I give up....

I am sitting here looking at that picture trying to figure it out....

    Can you say 'obsessed'?

    My cat smells of something
    I think it the 'goo'.
    I'm sitting here
    wondering what to do....

    It's not on the rug
    it's not on my shoe!
    My nose has an idea
    on what I should do!

I lay my head down on the bed to think!
    It just brings me closer
    to that stink!

    I think for a moment
    and then I see
The remants of a cat food recipe..

I think that I can clean
    the Goomeister's rear.
the thought of it makes me
    shed a tear.

    Someone can help me
    that I can bet....
I'll just leave it for my
    trusted vet.....Amen!

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!
