It's so cold in here =(

weather.com said that the temperature is 39 outside right now, but feels like 31. I know that probably sounds nice to some of you right now, but in Florida that is really freakin cold. Anyway, my thermostat in the house is reading 63 in here. I'm freezing and my heater is broken. Poor Buster and Charlie are all wrapped up in their blankets and won't come out. Our heat broke 2 years ago too and it cost $500 to fix. I don't know if the same thing is wrong this time, but we can't afford that right now. We do have a couple little space heaters, although I don't like using them, we can turn them on while we can watch them.

Our low was somewhere around 24 last night, which is pretty cold! Right now it's 33 degrees and feels like it's 27.

I've got both heaters on...they're set to about 73.

KBlaix I get cold very easily, so I can sympathize with you. Use the space heaters, just be careful!!

It was 22 when I left my house this morning. Inside, it was only 55... why? Our heater decided to stop cranking out heat. Lovely. My husband is home trying to figure out what he needs to do and I may go home early to make sure the animals are okay. Someone said that if the pilot light went out, our house is filling up with gas so if that's the case - off to my parents we go!

I love it! Hope it sticks around a while. Got to have a cold Christmas. I've been waiting all year for it.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.

I love the cold weather outside, but I don't like the cold inside too. That's my problem, it's now only 66 in my house and I wish it were a little warmer in here. I have really thick socks on and my toes are still really cold. I want my heat fixed so it can get the chill out of the house.

Ack, you would freeze at our house. Our furnace doesn't kick in until the house goes below 62F!! We try not to use the furnace at all since the price of propane is insane!

It's about -10C here right now--way above average for this time of year. That's 14F, i think.
