    *ORANGE* warning -Dylan's ONE year Gotcha!!

    Thought I would make a Dylan thread since it is almost exactly one year since he came to live with us - 12/03/03. This is the petfinders picture that first attracted me to him - his mane was all shaved - I guess from mats? But, he has never again had any tangles at all.

    He lived at the shelter about an hour away and had been there since the previous summer. The volunteers said folks thought he was too fat! Oh well, that meant he was saved for ME!! Here is when we first got home..

    He stayed in Missy's old room and claimed her bed right away, seeming very comfortable and content.

    "Introductions" were the next day and were uneventful - not even a hiss. Here he meets Emily...

    and Eliot...

    He toured the house with Emily and Eliot following...

    had some nip with Eliot..

    Meowmie wanted a hug like CCL gets from Peanut Butter!

    he fit right in, showing typical good manners...

    By the end of the day, it was as if he had always been with us!!


    Contrary to popular belief, Dylan DOES play...

    He quickly claimed my pillow...

    Look at that belly! It begs for schmoozles.

    Doesn't he make a nice sofa doily?

    I think this was his COTD photo ..I was soooo proud!! He went from fat and unwanted at that shelter to Cat of the Day!!

    But he is MY cat of the day EVERY day!

    Debbie, I have never heard Dylan's story before, he is VERY lucky that you adopted him, and you are very lucky too
