    Some Shelter Kitties!

I went to our local shelter todat to see a new Mama cat I had heard about and took some pictures of cats that are up for adoption.

The Calico Mama I heard about, was told she was long haired but she is more what I would call medium haired but talk about SWEET!! The kittens are 3 days old today.

This little guy is going to A.A.A. rescue to go to Adoption day at our pet store. 5 months old and a real cuite pie!

This little girl SCREAMED at me the whole time I was in there wanting her share of attention. She is still a baby, I judge her to be about 2 months and she is nothing but a ball of fluff.. LOOK at that cattitude on her face!

This calico, I got no information on but she was SOOoo friendly and sweet!

This girl was a owner turn in, is spayed, declawed and up to date on shots and about 1 1/2 years old. She looks scared to death in this cage..

Hope you enjoyed the pictures of some southern kitties!

What a bunch of beauties! Mom cat looks like a DMH, and I thought she had 4 kittens? Looks like 5 in the picture, and each one is so lovely. I pray they can get good responsible homes. Do the ones the adopt out get altered before they leave I hope? It would certainly be prudent for them to do so, as it seems there are too many down your way. I love the tortie puff ball! Is she going out for adoption? Hope the declawed girl isn't put down due to her fearful looks. Poor dears. Keep me posted on what the plans are for the gang.

QSL, when you adopt from this shelter, the fee is $50 and you have to take them to get "fixed" within a certain time frame and their shots. The $50 adoption fee covers that. They will not put that one to sleep that is spayed and declawed, eventually, a rescuer will pull her out of there if she seems friendly. The little tortie is going to PetCo on adoption day, she has now been fixed so she can go. SHe is TOooo cute and real demanding to the point that she was funny! She reminded me a lot of Giz.

I think what you are seeing in the picture that you think is kitten #5 is her tail, she has a really fluffy tail... She was making happy feet in the air while I took pictures so she is one happy Momma!

Jen the one under the Momma cat is Courtney and she is adorable! Look at that pink Nose!! TO cute!!

Around these here parts, we/I call those lovely markings, bi-colored tabbies, with white. She's a beauty for sure! Sure wish you weren't so far away, and wish that airlines would ship them for nothing! I guess I can't have it all, but sure can wish. Hope they don't snuff that lovely girl.
