    Candy Wreath

    Hi,
I made one of those candy wreaths that catnapper made the tutorial on a few weeks ago, and I kept forgetting to post a picture of the finished product. Well here it is

I made this one for my mother and I also made one for my grandmother. I still have one macramae ring left but I'm thinking I'm gonna save it till next christmas. Thank you catnapper for the great idea.
    Merry Christmas!

Thats great looking! I love the colors, and that ribbon is too cute! I'm glad you enjoyed making them, and that they turned out so nicely for you.

Yay! Jods yours is beautiful! I didn't know what you were talking about, so I did a search for the original thread. Catnapper, those are so cool! I get off work early today, and I'm thinking about spending my afternoon making a candy wreath for my boyfriend's mom. I'll be sure to post pics!

That looks so wonderful, and did I forget to mention how tasty that looks! It had to take FOREVER to make. And didn't you want to take off a piece of candy and eat it when you were finished? *hee hee*

It only took me about 45 min to make, it was really easy. I got the ribbon at Zellers it's like a walmart, yes it is pics of candies. I bought it cuz I thought it matched perfectly... I really enjoyed doing it its so different from the usual.

Good job, and what a sweet - pun intended - present that will make. Even though you say it only took 45 minutes, that still looks like a lot of work, and it's so pretty!

That's awesome Jods! I save the tutorial and was hoping to make one but it doesn't look like I'm going to have time.
But I will be trying one later on out just because it looks like yummy fun!

Jods, I saw that same ribbon at Michael's craft store today. I looked for a macrame ring - Michael's, Hancock Fabrics, Walmart - and haven't found one yet! I think maybe lots of people are out there making wreaths!! I think I actually found the shelf where they belong at Wal-Mart but they were just sold out. I'm going to try another Wal-Mart in town tomorrow or maybe after Christmas, when things get restocked.
