    Christmas tree fun:)

I put up our Christmas tree yesterday as a surprise for my hubby who was at work. As with all tasks that get carried out inside the house, I had plenty of help.
First he comes up to sniff the base: What's this Mom?

(The ugly cord goes to our cable, there is really no way to hide it)
He tried to chew on it and after a bop on the nose decided to sit and watch from a safe distance.

Then he started to feel brave and crept closer

Then he went in for another nibble on the tree while I was in the other room. I caught him pretending to be innocent.

This morning I saw a little shape through the branches: "I wonder if I could climb this"

    "Uhoh! Mom's watching"

"I'm too cute to punish, what's wrong with a little bright green vomit on the carpet?"

annnnnd here he was coming over to give me a nose kiss and get some snuggles while I was conveniently lying on the floor like a beached whale

Cute pictures, Missy. I read yesterday -from someone here- that citrus room spray will keep the kitties away from the tree. Might be worth a try and save Boomer's nose from getting bopped I am going to try it!!

Poor Boomer he was only trying to help. Cute pictures. Thanks for surprizing Paul. I'm sure he liked it. If you feel like a beached whale now wait until later.

    Love you both
