3 years ago today (Saturday) we drove up to shelter to process the paperwork for Thumper. We had to wait 2 1/2 days until they reopened from the Thanksgiving holiday. Man it was a longgggggg few days. As everyone knows, we got her from PetSmart. In the meantime. We visited her on Friday. We left super early on Saturday a.m. takes 45 mins to get there from our house. There we stood at 7:45 a.m. waiting for shelter to open at 8 a.m. Another gal and her daughter arrived and we spoke and we both mentioned we were there to pick up cats. I spoke up immediately and asked "I hope it's not for number ###, named Erie". We were glad to hear they were there for someone else. It's a first come first serve. We were first in line.
Thumper wanted me to also mention that Skinny has been with us for 1 yr this past September (Labor Day weekend). Meowmee got side tracked and never put up a "gottacha day".But they forgave her.
