Well first of all I can't believe you would EVER leave a bird in a cage for two months, thats inhumane.

Who was taking care of it while you were gone and what is wrong with them that they didn't keep up on the maintenance it needed?

    Thank you Wolf_Q!

Your going to need to earn your birds trust back. Personally I don''t blame the bird, you neglected it.

You're going to have to earn it's trust, also, is it a new bird? I wouldn't imagine a bird forgetting a long time owner. What kind of bird is it? Either way, yeah, hope you had a logical reason, just take it as a lesson and learn from the mistake. Anyway, best of luk.

Oh, so the petsitter neglected it. Hmmm... maybe you should have a word with them about what they did.
