    Yyyeeaaa Keegan!

I am so happy! Yesterday I ran Keegan to the vet for a weight check and to pick up some more of her prescription food and she has lost almost 5 pounds!!!
She is down to 89 pounds!!
At her heaviest she was 99 pounds.
So altogether she has lost 10 pounds. We need to get down another 5 - 10 pounds or so.
So we are keeping up the good work!
I might ask them the next time if they have the R/D for kitties b/c I think Kylie would benefit from it!

YAY!!! Congradulations Keegan! I am glad that she is losing the weight.

Does she have a thyroid problem? I thought I read somewhere that she does. If she doesn't then it must have been someone else. If she does have one, can you run her or not? Like get out on a bike and run her? Would that help? Just wondering.

yes Keegan has a thyroid problem that we have been dealing with for about a year and half.
I don't run her with a bike b/c I don't think she would like that. But with her obsession with tennis balls - we play fetch everyday at least 2 times a day sometimes 3 for at least 15-20 min at a time. Even before she lost much weight - just by doing that really 'trimmed' her up and she looked a lot better. My neighbors had thought she already lost a ton of weight b/c she had 'toned' up.
