I have seen a kit at Target that is supposed to repair them.

I have not tried the product though!!

Or if you have a Best Buy store newar you, you may find on there.

I heard that rubbing toothpaste on it works, but I've never tried it myself.

What's the commercial where the guy gets in the semi and the CD is skipping, and the passenger puts that orange band around the outside edge of the CD, puts it back in and it plays fine? I know I've seen it a dozen times.

a small.... very small amount of toothpaste on the scratch works, but it might not then you are stuck with a cd full of toothpaste... I have done it and it worked and I have done it and it hasn't... I'd buy a cd fixer thingy....

    Thanks everyone.

I think I'll try the toothpaste idea first and see how that works, and if I have no luck I'll see if I can buy some sort of kit to fix them up.
