Safest city

   The city where I grew up and where I now live, Newton, has been named the "safest" city in the nation using FBI data. (It is usually close to the top of the list.) I think it's sad that despite story below, Newton still has too much crime. It's also sad that almost all of the stories on the net focus on the city listed as the most dangerous. Every place should be safe.

Hope a lot of the criminals don't decide to go there because they think it would be an easy target. Wish I lived in a safe city and area. My neighborhood itself is safe but is very close to a crime ridden area.

I live next door to Mission Viejo....very safe (then why all the gates on the communities???)

It's funny, we do have a police beat in the local weekly paper, I'll have to pay more attention to it and see what's there if there's "no crime" here!
