    Solitaire

Solitaire, you are such a sweetie! Hedgehogs are really cute. It was nice of Solitaire to be a part of the clever romantic plot, even though he was woken up so early in the morning! Hee hee! Congratulations to Solitaire's owners on their engagement, and to Solitaire himself for being named "Pet of the Day"!!!

What an adorable story! Very imaginative and romantic! Congratulations, Solitaire on being Pet of the Day and helping your human male with his surprise! I think you'd look precious in a teeny top hat and tails at the wedding! And you can be the ring bearer, snuggled up on a pillow with the rings! Afterall! You are an intricate part of the family! Hope mom and dad give you extra treats!

Ben E Gas: I have a hedgie of my own, and his fur feels like normal animal fur, I guess, LOL!
That was such a cute romantic story! Awww! I wish Solitare has a great day today, and that she has a great time living with her parents!

But what about the spines? How do they feel? Can you brush your hand over them without getting hurt?

I agree Hedghogs are charming, I who owns 2 named Hewbert(guy) and Hetty(gal). Somthing I learbed while owning Hedghogs is never let your boyfriends hold them, the prickley little guys will go right for their after-shave. So don't try it.

margaret! When hedgehogs are not tame, they do not like you petting them, so they roll up into a prickly ball of spines (aka quills) and if you try to run your hand over the spines then, it hurts! When a hedgehog is unrolled, and tame, it totally doesn't hurt when you do that. It feels cool. Just like what my hedgehog lets me do. Hegdehog spines are not venomous, of course! You'd be amazed on how many people think that (where I live LOL)! Sorry everyone, I'm getting off topic. Congrats again to our pet of the day, Solitare! Yippie yaa yay yeahhhh! LMAO
