Museum kitties in the farmhouse museum

Last weekend the weather was wonderful: golden autum -blue skies and sun. We decided to visit a farmhouse museum- and we did not only meet farmhouses:

The house is from the 17th century- but the goats are younger

There were some very colourful chicken and two roosters, rabbits and geese. But guess what we liked most:

At least two kitties are on the payroll- and look what a wonderful job they do:

    A pretty house:

And the second kitty who enjoyed Siegmar's attention:

    Isn't she a beauty?

Hope you enjoyed this visit at the Open Air museum.

Gorgeous kitties. That tuxie looks a lot like Kimlovescats' Tucker.

What a lovely place to visit.

    Magical place! And beautiful kitties

I have to admit that Germany, actually Bavaria, is the most beautiful place in the world. There are so many beautiful houses and the attitude towards pets and animals in general is so different than what I've seen anywhere else.

Gorgeous kitties! I would have loved that tour. I'd love to call a place like that "home". Is the door height low? I kow when we visit some old houses form the 1700s they are much smaller than we are used to today - they grew 'em small back then! (We have no 17th century houses still standing around here to my knowledge... they had one, but tore it down to make a pharmacy!!!)

I find it rather amusing that you were attracted to the kitties

Seems no matter where we go, the kitties always are the main attraction.

    Beautiful museum grounds!!

What a beautiful place! I love the house. Looks very well kept for being so old. But I love the "decorations" even more. What adorable kitties and what a great way to spend such a beautiful fall day.
