Your picture reminded me of something that the Edster did the other day....

I'll call it

The 10 gallon cat in the one gallon basket.

My mom has a bunch of baskets that are woven from twigs.

They are scattered about the house and there is a small one next to the fireplace that has matches in it.

Ed and I were a-visiting with the Mom-ster and Ed was off doing his "cat" things...climbing on the couch, hanging out in the windows and then he disappeared for a few minutes..


He reappears and out if the corner of my eye I noticed that he was doing a funny pirouette.

His feet were tightly bunched together, he was looking down and he was going around in circles......I turned around to look at him just in time to figure out what he was up to.


He was trying to park his fat arse in this tiny basket.

He got all four feet in and was circling to try and figure out how to ssssqqqquuuuuuueeeeeezzzzzzeeeeeeee into this one gallon basket- since he's a 40 quart cat- there was no way he was gonna make it in.

When he found out that he WASN'T going to make it, he stepped out and tossed the "I really did want to sleep there ANYWAY!'
look at it and walked away....




I laughed for a while about THAT one.......You had to have been there.....

Of course Marius is more svelte that Ed is, so his "ballerina" seems like it would be more proportioned.
