    quick question-walking

Is it ok to let your dog walk ahead of you, or should you get them to walk beside you. my dog camen likes to walk ahead and he's pretty good when he does. Is that wrong of me to let him?

As long as he does pull on the leash, letting him walk ahead is okay. Our dogs have always liked to walk ahead. Will he stop if you ask him to, does he know "heal" means come back and walk beside you?

I personally don't like my dogs walking ahead of me, I feel I have much better control over them if they are healing. I do let them walk ahead a tiny bit and I let them smell things but really I think it's up to you. I do however think you should atleast train him how to heal incase you ever need him to
