I went to a yard sale back in September. It was at a house that had a horse barn. The property backed up to a lake and it was so beautiful. Turns out the owner had died. His wife and children were there selling what items they could. I learned the kids have a horse place in Ocala. This place has been sold for a sub division. Makes me sick. I wish I could have bought it. While I was there, I took some pics of the old barn. I've contacted the company that bought it. I want the old wooden door from the barn. It's such a shame to see a beautiful place like this go for another cookie cutter sub division. Makes me sad.
I also want to get this while I'm getting the door. I hope they let me go there and get it, otherwise, they don't know I want this, too.

I'd been wanting some pics of this little shed in the woods for a while. I had to walk to it. Here is an old building I had to park by to get to the shed.

Broken record I passed on my walk.

Here's the shed area. We originally thought some hobos had built these to live in but I think it's an old work area of someone's.

I had to take Duke to the vet this morning. On the way back, I stopped at the coffee house. They have tables outside so I enjoyed my coffee with Duke. There's a nice fountain there and I decided to get Duke to pose with it. I wish I had thought about getting a video. Going to do that Monday. Two ladies commented on how good a dog he was. I told him he had taken lessons from Kay's dogs. Here's my good boy. I want to try and photoshop all the harness and leash out of this because I really like it. He's such a good boy.

Great photos Val. That is sad about the deceased estate, and selling everything off , i hope you get the wooden door and hooks etc. Oh my what a gorgeous photo of Duke {{Kiss Kiss}} for Duke.

Those are some wonderful pictures!!!
How sad they have to resort to selling their property!!... What a shame. The pictures are GREAT and I hope you get the door and hooks you want.

DUKE IS SO HANDSOME IN THAT PICTURE!!!...

It deserves to be framed and hung up on the wall!!! Look at that huge smile!! What a spoiled pup!

Thanks! I retouched that last photo. What do you think? I haven't done it often but I think it came out pretty good. Ha! I didn't see the end of the leash at the bottom corner.

I hope they let you go and get the things you want. You know they will only bulldoze it down, not caring at all about whats in there. Hey, if they do let you go and get some things, I like to join you. I have a thing for old places like that and wouldn't mind nosing around some.

And the picture of Duke........HANDSOME, HANDSOME Duke. That picture is a keeper for sure, framed on the wall.

Sure! I'd be honored. Is there a way to get the background out and keep the fountain with it's water? I know the magnetic lasso will work for the majority of it.

I have to contact the man from the company that bought the property Monday morning and he's going to meet me there. I'd love to have you along but this man is the big cheese and I don't think it's going to be a leisurely thing. He's nice but this isn't a small company and I think he's going out of his way for me. I told him I was willing to pay but you were right, they're just going to bulldoze it down. What a shame. So, he's giving it to me for free.
