6 years ago today (October 26th 1998) the love of my life, my heart and soul was born, 6 weeks later she became "Mine".
I remember that day so clearly, when i went to meet the litter of Rotti/ Cattle dog mix pups (All 11 or 12 of them) i turned around and saw Clover, she was not the runt but was good healthy weight, but looked small compared to some of the other pups, her gaze sucked me in strait away and i knew she had to be the one.
Although my father wanted to take the sickly looking Rotti marked Pup i was not keen, we went away to think about it and when we went back the black and tan pup had gone to her new home. I called all of the Pups and Clover ran strait into my arms and the rest is history.
Clover has taught me many wonderful lessons she has taught me that no matter what she will always love and she is the reason i am here today.
So my dear red dog, know that i love you and always will to the final breath, you will forever "Mine". Heres to many more wonderfull, fun filled years together.
