    Grumpy Grandpa Dylan

heehee Dylan is funny with the kittens and we have taken to calling him Grumpy Grandpa. He does love them and is very interested in them but only in a no-nonsense way!! They must behave themselves in his presense I have seen the kittens go scrambling down the hall and put on their brakes when they see Dylan at the end and then tippytoe sweetly past him Robbie actually makes a wide circle around him Lizzie is not the quickest study though and often can't resist a quick swat and then run!!! But, when he rolls over onto his back, this is an open invitation for the little ones to come on over for some loving IF they are polite. Lizzie really adores him and likes for him to snuggle and groom her but just can't seem to behave for very long.
Here here a sequence Dennis took last night.
Grandpa had rolled over and Lizzie had received her grooming and was settled in for a snuggle...

    Still pretty cozy...

But that tail is starting to intrigue her....it is so big and fluffy orange

Maybe he won't notice just a little swat?

UH-Oh...I think I woke him up...

    SQUEAL!!!

It was nice while it lasted

Oh Deb I look forward to your stories when I come in the mornings. I especially like to hear about Dylan and the kittens. They are just sooo precious.

Dylan so funny how he has a code of behavior the kittens must follow. He makes me think of an old staunch schoolmaster.

That is too funny!! Dylan you silly old man!! You just have no tolerance for kitten antics do you? Well, at least you are grooming and loving the babies when they are good.

Lizzie, I couldn't resist that big fluffy tail either! It would be worth the wrath of Dylan just to get a few minutes of that tail!

Oh Debbie, I love the first picture. Look at the way little Lizzie is looking up at Dylan. Priceless.

My Katie can relate to Dylan. She is okay with Poppy as long as he doesn't jump on her and lays still to be groomed.

What a great set of pictures.
