Kodiak, I don't know much about iguanas, but aren't you the handsome fellow. I am curious as to what your lifespan is? It sounds like you are very independent and like your privacy, but still friendly and curious. It sounds like your family loves you very much and enjoy your company. Congratulation, Kodiak, on being our Pet of the Day, and on recovering from a previous bad home. I'm so glad your loving guardian has given you good nutrition and environment to help you blossom into such an impressive fellow!

I don't know too much about iguanas, but I have seen that giving them the wrong food and housing can cause them to fade and not thrive, and then finally get sick and die. Even owners with good intentions sometimes don't provide the right life for your iguana brothers and sisters.

So, keep living it up, Kodiak! I hope you get some special treats for being honored - and your human should have a treat too!
