Catnip Party at the Layne household!

We had a catnip party at the house tonight, to celebrate Puff feeling better. The catnip came from our friend Renate(orangemm) awhile back. We are just finishing the bag now! It was a HUGE bag of nip!

And yes, that is a spoon on the floor. It was used as a play toy by Amos minutes earlier

I have NO IDEA what all those dots are. *confused*

If you look closely, you can see I shaved Pennys tooshie!

Lucy had a *private* party!

And the 5 A's party in the other room. As you see, Amos shared in this party too! Nip hog!

Looks like a great time was had by all! How do yours react to "nip?" Trevor (rest his little soul) used to get very mellow and fall asleep, while Andy acts like he is possessed. He attacks the nip as if it was a mouse.

I guess the pupsters were not invited?

Around here the dogs actually eat the nip

with obviously no effect. I think they feel they must give it a try though since the kitties enjoy it so much.

I gave mine a nip party just before I left for work.. It was so much fun watching them! They can smell that stuff sealed in a ziplock bag and sealed in a can from a mile away!

Looks like yours had a great time and it was interesting to see them all together but in their own little worlds!

Nice turnout for the party. Looks like your guys aren't bad drunks like some of mine. Jazz can't hold her nip and ends up in a brawl with the nearest cat. It's the only time she is like that.

I had to laugh at what looks like some doggie ears in a kennel in the back room. Guess they weren't invited.

Glad everyone enjoyed themselves. Now I have to make sure my two don't see these pictures and demand equal time............
