Eepie - named for the beautiful queen, Lady Eepsalotte! No, I'm joking...she was named Eepie because when we got her she was so little, her meow was so high-pitched and small, it sounded like 'Eep! Eep!'

Weezie - I'm not sure if this has a real meaning but we named her after the band Weezer but then she wasn't, um, a Weez-er but a Weez-ie !

Grey Girl - It means she's a girl cat...and she's grey. Wow, my creative astounds me...!
Proud meowmy of Weezie, Eepie, Grey Girl and Neko...or Weezer Peezer, Eepie Peepie, Grey Grey and Neko the Gecko as they are commonly known!

Meka - hawaiian for "the eyes". I looked up the meaning later after I thought of the name and it was so fitting. Still working on pictures for everyone! Debbie

    Julie means Soft-haired, youthful.

She had the name when we adopted her and we liked it.

I do not know what the actual names mean but only that they are all named for poets: Dylan Thomas, TS Eliot. Emily Dickinson, Elizabeth Barrett and Robert Browning. (English teacher here - before becoming an RN) Maybe my next kitties should be medical names
