I still remember begging my dad for 3 months to get me a bunny. When I went to the petstore one week I found "the bunny", I knew you were ment to be with me. What a cute grey ball of fluff you were!
"Destiny" was your name for the first hour I had you, and that name suits you, you were my destiny. I didn't know much about Bunnies then and the day I picked you up we went on a 4 hour drive to my grandparents. This trip really sealed our bond, and has kept it going these past two years. You slept on my lap the whole four hour ride, and then almost the whole time while we were there.
I brought you home and you soon matured. My "baby boy" was growing up! You hit your teenage stage and boy were you BAD! You ruined a matress and my carept, not mention all the countless cords you chewed through. I knew it wasn't your fault, you only wanted to have some "fun".
As you got older you became my best friend and a wonderful companion. Without you I honestly don't think I would be here today. So many days I thougth I couldn't make but YOU needed me. I knew I couldn't leave this earth without you. You were the only thing, the only reason, for me to wake up each morning. You saved my life.
I owe you everything, my preciouse baby boy, I can't beleave my life has been blessed by you for two whole years.
What still amazes me is the love you have for me. I can flip you on your back, wrap you in a baby blanket and carry you around for 3 to 4 hours and you won't move a muscle, you really have become my baby. I know that you love me as much as I love you. I feel so blessed to have you in my life, You are a once in a life time kind of bunny.
I hope you relize that your love has not only touched my life, but hundreds. Because I knew what wonderful companions rabbits can be, we were able to save 50 of them from a certain death. They owe you there lives, there freedom, the love they now recieve in the variouse homes they are in. I hope you understand what an impact your life has had. You were put here for a reason, and I thank god every day for you. I sometimes wonder what I have done in my life to deserve such a loving, careing, kind creature as yourself.
You are my life and I hope you know this.
