Sorry, I missed that. It'll happen someday, and when you're ready, all PTers will gather round to ooh & aah over your new kitty!
I know what its like living with parents as an adult. I did it for many years, and hubby did it as a single father of three. I don't know HOW he did it because his mom was a "strong woman" with a powerful will to bend him to her way!
I wasn't able to have a cat while living with my parents, and once I knew I was enganged and moving in with hubby, we got Allen! Actually, we met Allen the day we got engaged. Took him home with us a few weeks later. How's that for getting a cat as soon as my suitcases were packed?
