    We'll be home soon:)

Hey everybody! It has been a wonderful few weeks with the best surprise ever *rubs her tummy*, but the time has come for Paul and me to return to Japan. Our flight leaves in a few hours. I made myself stay up all night to increase my chances of being able to sleep on the plane. The long leg of our trip takes 14 hours . Right now I'm exhausted!! But I can't wait to see my little Boomer! I'm wondering how he will react. He'll probably either punish us by ignoring us or follow us around like a little lost puppy dog. I hope it's the latter. I'd hate it if my sweet boy hid from me after I've missed him so. I'll report in with the verdict once we are settled in.. that might take a few days though. See you all later

I hope Boomer will be happy to see you.

I remember when we left our (now my parents') cat with a friend for a week. When we came from the seaside, he was so happy to see us! But in a few seconds he remembered that he was supposed to be upset and didn't want to talk to us. He-he, he was ok as soon as we took him in our arms

I missed this thread until just now! Missy called this morning at about 7am our time or 8pm her time - to let us know they were home safe and sound. Boomer was so excited to see them and wanted constant holding, loving and petting. Lots of pictures of the visit in an album I kept adding to while they were in the states!!
    I love you Missy!!!
Here are a couple of my favorite pictures from the trip:

Good to hear they're back home!! Thanks for the update, Debbie! Those are nice photos of the "sirrah-family" Misha is so tiny and cute! I see there's a new generation of PTlers coming from your fam!

And how exciting to learn about the new future family addition! The baby countdown is so sweet! Congrats!!

Hi everyone Yep, we're home and Boomer could not be happier!. When we first walked in the door we found Boomer inside the lining of the couch (Bad kitty...). I pulled the scared kitty out and as soon as he realized it was us he went nuts! He hasn't been more than a few feet away from me since I got home. He's constantly crying at us and jumping up for rubbies if we're walking. It's like he is so thrilled that he doesn't know what to do Last night he kept running back and forth between Paul and I, crying for attention from both of us. He even didn't mind that I gave him a bath last night! (his rear end was stinky!) Paul decided to let Boomer sleep in our room last night (Yay!) and his royal kittyness slept right on my pillow. Each time I would move or go to pet him he would kneed his little paw gently on my neck and just purrrr and purrrrrrrr Anywho, his claws need to be clipped realy badly, but I hope this state of euphoria he is in lasts until well after I trim them
It feels so good be to be home
