Was out feeding the buns today and I decided to try and get my Jacky boy out... and I finally managed to! He's a hard boy to catch!
I knew he was in a big molt so I wanted to take him out and brush him, and remove some of the extra fur... when I took him out I gasped at what I saw!
My CHESTNUT boy is molting into a castor coloured REX fur! I can't believe it... he's getting BEAUTIUFUL soft velvety rex fur... and totally changing colour! All his chestnut ticked normal fur is dissapearing. I've never seen anything like this before in my MANY years of having rabbits. I guess its now apparently that's he's got some Rex in him somewhere! I'm so excited to see how he looks when he's finished his molt. I've always wanted a rex rabbit!
