    A hard decision...

I'm finding that I'm getting VERY busy with school now, with being in Grade 12 and all. And some of my rabbits NEED extra attention and I don't think I can give them as much attention as they need. I think I'm going to have to let a few of them go... only of course if I can find them good homes. I really don't know who to part with though... I love all of them with all my heart!

Do you think this is the right decision? It only seems fair to me. I know for sure I'd like Sophie to go to a new home, she needs lots of loves! I'm not sure who else... I have to give it some serious thought. Also the cost to feed 9 rabbits is quite a lot and we're a little tight on money right now.

If ANYONE is at all interested please PM me.

    Thanks.
    Amanda

Oh, I'm so sorry you have to do this. But is important to do what's the best for your pets. I hope they go to wonderful new homes!

I'm so sorry. But I think what you're doing is very responsible of you.

I'd LOVE a bun-bun but unfortunately, mum thinks two dogs is enough.

You should post on BrindleWeb. It's a rescue message board for Vancouver. I know there are a few people on the island as well. Maybe they know someone looking for a bunny?

Keep them! Maybe take them in while your doing homework and on weekends spend SO much time with them....I usually am late for school because I take an extra five minutes petting mine My school takes away 2 points for being late.....I HATE my school!too many pointless rules!
Anywayz I think you should keep them, maybe stop breeding now though? I'm going to wait until I'm out of Univarsity to breed rabbits again.
Well I hope you decide to keep them(if not which buns do you have that special bond with).

Yeah... I'm just finding right now with 9 rabbits, I'm going through a huge bag of pellets in like 2 1/2 weeks and that stuff is exspensive! And Sophie and Jack really need more attention... and Trinity needs a home where someone can give her lots of one-on-one time, she's got a bit of a difficult attitude. I may also let Autumn go... not sure.

Yeah with 9 rabbits you definitly go through ALOT! I had 9 before because of the babies and we went through SO much supplies it was crazy and WAY to expensive, We got rid of Smokey first, who is doing awesome! She and Cinnamon are together now no fights no nothing It's great to see father and daughter(he's neutered now) and Blueberry,Blackberry & Q-Tip at at the Petstore Actually I left my website address on a poster at the petstore and someone must have read it because:

I am getting one of your bunnies but its not the mostly white one because she got sold before we had a chance to get her but I'm getting the other female and my dad said we could get both of the ones left but since we've never had bunnies before we thought it would be better to start with one. holly cow look and all I've writtin but so yah your rabbits are so cuddly and sweet. Again awesome site. Well I'll keep ya posted on my bunny. Bye!

Hey its me again but instead of my name being wanting a bunny to love its GOT my bunny tonight!! We brought home Q-Tip I guess was her name. We put up the cage and we are still getting her used to having to push on the water bottle to make water come out not just sniff it beacuse if she doesn't by tonight we will just give her a bowl of water. Boy does she ever LOVE carrots! as soon as we put one in the cage shes almost done it all ready! Well any helpful hints or suggestions? I'm so glad we got her shes wonderful! Well bye for now but I'll keep ya posted.
Happy to have a new bunny but still don't know a name!

So Blueberry is sold to who knows I wanna know! And Q-Tip was sold to this girl! I so happy she got her!YaY! But now Blackberry is all alone in the pen

I feel your pain. Over a year ago, we had to rehome our rabbits too. They are like dogs and require constant attention. That, and we didn't have enough room for them, as we gave them over half of our living room.

We found the best home ever for them and I attribute that to patience and time. A woman I used to work with was looking for rabbits she could adopt and evn since then, they've been the happiest bun buns ever! She lets them sleep with her on the weekends...that's how commited to them she is.

Just put the word out, use that site that was posted and really get to know where they're going to go.

Any decision with the best interests of your bunnies in mind is the best one.
    ...RIP, our sweet Gini...
