    Dog day at the YMCA

I read this article in the paper yesterday and just thought it was a great idea. Once a year one of the Tucson YMCA's opens up it's pool to the dogs! For $5 each dog (no fee for the humans) They get to swim and mingle with other dogs just like they would at the dog park only this time there is a pool.

I've always wanted to participate in something like that with Tango but I have never heard of Clagary doing anything like that for dogs before.

They did something like that in the Denver area. It was towards the end of summer and people could take there dogs to the pool and the dogs could swim and play. All the dogs got a pink ball to take home. My nephew took his beagle and he said it was awesome and that everyone had a lot of fun. I think thats such a good idea. Wish they did it where I live. They also charged the $5.00. My nephew said it was the best 5 bucks he had ever spent. Lol.

Isn't that great! I saw on the news the other night, where a lot of community swimming pools leave the pool open for one last day for the town's families to come enjoy a swim with their pups

A bunch of pools in my area do that also.
I wouldn't bother taken mine... they both hate water. But it would still be fun to go and watch!
