Yesterday was Cincy 3rd birthday, and she got an unusual oppertunity...to go to the zoo!! Our therapy dog group visits many of the Alzheimer's care centers here in Toledo, and for the 2nd year, we were invited to participate in the annual Memory walk to raise money for Alzheimer. It is held at the Toledo Zoo.
Unfortunatly, we never made it in to the main zoo. We decied to go see the Artic and Africa exhibts first, and by the time we were ready to go into the rest of the zoo, they asked the dogs not too. Last year there were no problems, but this year the Cheetahs were getting anxious and so they asked that the dogs stay in the entry plaza where there are no animals. I didn't get as many pictures as I would have liked, or get too see as mant animals, but we were there to support the walkers as they entered the zoo, and that was really the main point of the trip. And the dogs were excited to get lots of loving from lots of people!
