    What a fun weekend :D....

We had a GREAT weekend travelling around for Flyball, on Saturday Elvis and i went to a little town called Maryborough and did a Flyball/ Obedience/ Tricks demonstration at the Agricultural Show.

Although at each demo we only had about less than 10 people come and watch but it was a perfect excuse to give the beginner dogs a good workout away from our normal training grounds.

Elvis did great in the morning and did not make a mistake once, but then his girlfriend (Pippi the boxer) came out to play Flyball and Elvis lost it completly LOL. I did get 5 videos of Elvis doing Flyball but the files are too big to post at PT so if anyone can resize just PM me.

On Sunday we went to the Pets Day Out it was a fun day (When we got there). The day did not start out all that great beginning at 6am when i got a phonecall from a friend saying he was on his was to our house so we could follow them on the drive that morning (My alarm had not gone off and we were all in bed still ). I told Bill to leave and we would catch up to them in about half and hour, well 45 minutes later we were ready to leave.

We then got lost as the signs did not say Frankston next Exit so we kept on going, when i saw the Pakenham 13 Kilometres sign i realy freaked out LOL. But it was ok BC Bill came to the rescue and gave me great directions on how to get to Ballam Park and we were only half an hour late .

The day went smoothly from then on, and miss Clover ran fault free all day. The outcome of the day was we came last in our Flyball Division LMAO, we got a lovely squeeky toy that Elvis choose and a cruddy computer printed certificate LOL.

Well on with the photos... (In the next 1-3 posts)

    Sunday...

Little Archie, he is about 14 years old and is one of our mascots. The poor old boy was from a rescue and was adopted into his new home just 18 months ago.

Suzie another one of our mascots .

Zacky boy, that boy bought a tear to my eyes on Sunday as he has been in training for so long (6 Years) and this comp is the best i have ever seen him run. His Mum was so excited as was i. *Go Zack Go*

Stewert Little, he is addicted to Flyball LOL.

    Speedy Lab Penny.

"Mad Maddy" did not have one of her "Mad" moments at all on the weekend.

    More coming ....

The competition was Eukanuba sponsered so we all got a pretty pink Bandana, some of the Hoomans wore theirs as did some of the dogs ....

LMAO Kobe another of our team mates. LOL he did not mind at all and his tail was a waggin the whole time.

Happy Lab Henry, you would not think this dog was dumped at 5 months old at our dog club with all of his pedigree and papers as the people did not want him .

Elvis' best mate, they look so adorable together when they play. Edited to add, the young mans name is Fonzi and he is an 19 month old Kelpie/ Koolie mix from sheep dog parents.

I have more but i will stop for now . Hope you enjoyed seeing a group of happy dogs doing what they love doing best.

    Great pictures!!

I would love to watch flyball! I'll have to check in my area if there are any clubs. I don't think either of mine would do it but I'd love to watch!!!

I can't believe someone would not want this sweet face!!

What a great selection of dogs! Love all the pics. I'll have to figure out if you can email me that video you want resized. I can do it for you. Tomorrow is my day off. I love those labs. Elvis looks so happy and I'd just love to be there scratching Clover's belly. She really looks like she's enjoying that backscratching.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Angie i know and Henry is such a sweet dog, if his new family could not keep him (They were fostering him LOL) we were thinking of taking him on, but as you can see that foster dog turned into a full time dog.

Cori LOL, "Mad Maddy" is well mad, as you can see in the photo she has her head turned towards the other lane and she has a habit of running off to the other lane and the bark on that girl is so high pitched, she is hilarious. Very much a typical Boxer, Gorgeous.
