    update on feline leuk cats

well celeste crossed the bridge tonight. I know they told me she probably didn't have long, but i never suspected it would be so quick. the weekend was rough she was acting just a little out of sourts.... really cuddly, and walking me down to the basement to show me where she had just urinated on the floor. and when i was with the dog she avoided the other cat..... who she usually is always with. this mornign i woke up to her getting sick on the bdrm floor so i called the vet and we got in tonight. the did a test and there turned out to be protine in her urin as well as a urinary track infection. the doctor figured this was why she was avoiding the litter she was putting the two ( pain and going) together. the doctor said there was no painless end in sight for her because of the way things where going so i made the hardest decision ive ever made. Now i try to comfort morris who doesn't understand why she left and never came home.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. It sounds like you did the most loving thing possible for Celeste. Frolick well at Rainbow Bridge, sweetie, free of pain.

Which of the two cuties in the picture is she? I'm guessing she is the lovely black and white...

I'm so sorry for the loss of Celeste. It's so hard when the furry ones leave us behind but rest assured that she knew you loved her and is watching over you until you meet again.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!
