I trained my dogs for agility myself. and I compete in fun matches often, and I have been to one real trial with Happy before lol she did pretty good, sorta.. lol she was at a fun match just on monday, I had Happy in Regular pre-starters, and for some reason there was weaves, there is NOT supoosed to be weaves in PRE-starters lol no weaves and no teeter. and obviously Happy refused the weaves lol I have tried every way I know of teaching that dog to weave, the tilted poles is the only thing that got any progress made, but she will only do it at home. Misty weaves just fine, but Happy just flat out refused to weave! and by the way she does know how to weave between my legs perfectly, its only the poles she wont weave lol she loves the teeters however. Misty does all the obsticals but she is still in training, so I just did touch'n'go with her, she did good too! lol I am just not used to her looks at me all the time, Happy all I gotta do is shout the obsticle from anywhere and point in the direction and she does it lol (I have to, she is too fast lol)

You're so right!! If you had started a thread with a just a clue in title on what it's about, and had posted in Dog Gereral, you would probably have got ten times the replies.

This sure is an odd name for this particular thread.

I voted "no" because I don't have dogs. If I did and my dog was a breed that needed additional running, I would participate. It looks like fun.

    How come?

Alot of people aare doing it to show they they care to Angus and his family. Though not alot have sigs with him in it, but they still care.

Maybe, Elvis's joints are still growing and whenever he gets older I could find agility classes to take. I'm sure we would both enjoy it, ecspecially elvis!
