As promised...Rosco & Abigail Bath pics

Poor little Rosco! He decided he really didn't want to take another bath. he gave me a bit more of a fit this time but he isn't big enough to win just yet!
He has turned into the bouncy, happy, and very busy little kitten that I hoped he would.
So why do I do this horrible thing to him he wonders!

    OH PLEASE not this again!

    SHEW, I'm glad thats over!

Abigail didn't do so well this time. As a matter of fact when we were almost done I thought I had killed her. Hubby was freaking and so was I! I think I threw her into shock and this is the last bath she will get. She's just not strong enough to handle the stress.
Now that she's ok the pictures are cute. Poor little baby!

PLEASE don't put me in there!

I can't ever take this again!

Well that was the ordeal of the night folks. Poor little ones!

Such adorable babies. Maybe Abigail is just shy, and didn't want her picture taken while she was bathing??

Awww, poor little guys! They are such cuties with adorably large ears.

Is the flea problem getting any better? Did the Dawn help?

It's helping but it's not completely getting rid of them. I don't want to but I may have to put some Advantage on them. I will try to make sure and find out how much to use. Abigail is just not gaining strength like she should. Tuesday I will treat everyone in the house just in case. It's time to do it again anyway.
I'm afraid that Abigail is weak from anemia and I have to get rid of the fleas and I don't know what else to do. She gave one good spurt of energy at the end of her bath and then she just went limp. I layed her in the towel and no matter what hubby or I did she wouldn't move. We really thought we had killed her!
She finally came back around and we both immediatly agreed that we won't be doing that again!

Oh poor Abigail Mouse. Is there anything else you can do for her to help with the anemia? Her reaction after the bath would have scared me too, bless her little heart.

Maybe the whitecoats would have advice or suggestions?

And how does Dawn work as cat shampoo?

How precious! I sure hope little Abigail gets stronger and soon!
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

Shew . . . poor babies!!! That little Abigail is pitiful! She's so tiny and weak, I'd say it wouldn't take much to send her into shock. You have to be careful also, like I said before, with hypothermia. Tiny kittens are VERY susceptible to it! Warming the towels helped though, I'm sure!

And that cutie Rocso!!! He'll really be a hand full now!!! He'll get you back!

Deb: I don't know if you've ever thought about this, but if you treat Abigail for fleas (with the Advantage), she might gain some strength and feel better.

When we adopted Josie, she was only 5 weeks old and she was eat up with fleas. I've never ever seen anything so bad. She was so miserable because of those critters. They'd crawl all over her face and into her eyes and nose . . . it was horrible. She did like Abigail, wouldn't eat much, wouldn't move around much. Once we treated her with the Advantage, she completely turned around, started feeling better. We could tell a huge difference. She just felt better.

I really think that once you get rid of Abigail's fleas, she'll start feeling better.

Look at those ears! They are too darling for words. Glad to hear they both survived the ordeal. The pictures really show the difference in sizes between the two.

Poor sweet little babies. It is so pitiful when they have to have a flea bath.
I hope and pray that you are able to get help for Abigail soon so she can get some strength back.
