Shiloh only weighs 8 lbs but her fur sure makes her look fat.

My Trevor tips the scales at 20 1/2 lbs. In his defense, he is big boned. Truthfully his frame and bone structure are larger all the way around than his "sibling" Andy. It didn't help that in the past he often ate canned IAMS which is more fattening than he should have been fed (my fault, being the feeder). For the past few months he has only eaten dry IAMS Less Active. Hopefully it is making a difference. One of these days we will get weighed. I'm holding off since I weigh both of us, then myself alone and then subtract to get his weight. Haven't really wanted to weigh myself lately.

Well, I guess every member of the big cat club will weigh in on this topic! My momcat weighs eight pounds. She's the only slim one of the bunch. She gave birth to one who just got her annual check up and tipped the scales at 9 lbs. Not too large but larger than average, and she's got a small frame and was the runt. Her sister weighed 10 1/2 last time she went to the vet, but on the bathroom scales last month she managed to make the needle go to 12. The real porker is the boy, 20 lbs. But like Trevor, he is a large cat with a head the size of a grapefruit!!

"Mr. B" is a big bruiser! Like Trevor, he is "big boned!" And his long fur makes him look even bigger. He does love to eat. (He gets "less active" formula) But seems to have settled happily at this weight. 17 lbs!!! What a big bundle of love to hug!

Sandra...I love that top picture. Mr. B looks like he is demanding his morning cup of coffee! (noticed the carafe is missing so it seems he is waiting for you to put on a pot! LOL)

Hey! My kitty has small bones, but she is a grand spanking 15 lbs! Uh......I read in cat fancy that this will shorten her life expectancy. Also, since I'm only 12, my mom feeds the cats. My sister is Maylo (we have our nicknames, don't ask please), and we also have a Tabby cat named Tabby. Can food makes 'em fat, right?

Sandra, Mr. B is so beautiful. I would love to brush that cat. Every time I see an orange and white longhair at the shelter, I immediately grab a brush. Maybe its because I came really close to adopting a female orange/white DLH who I really bonded to by brushing her. Shiloh, the little stuck up princess, will not share her home with other felines though. I'm still trying to talk her into keeping Julius but she won't budge!

Pam - I just LOVE Trevor's markings and green eyes.

Solo - canned food is more fattening. I feed Shiloh dry but will occasionally give her wet as a treat. It is hard to switch cats to dry food once they are used to wet though.

In our home, it is just me and the dogs who have to watch our weight. At her heaviest, Mimi was 6 1/2 pounds. It will be interesting to see how she does when she goes in for her annual visit in August. She eats much more since Butter came along!! And Butter was 10 pounds in January, shortly after he arrived, and I'm sure he has gained weight, but he is still all lean and healthy...not an ounce of fat on him. Too bad for Honey, Lilly and Mom, who have to watch every calorie!!!

Thanks guys! Mr. B is my big baby! I forgot to mention that he is 17 lbs! I just love his long white and "butterscotch" coloring. He doesn't like the heat, and with his asthma, he gets his yearly lion cut in the spring! He just got his new "doo" last week! How cute!!! I can see how really muscular he is. My little "B" the body builder Oh, I just love him to pieces!!! And yes, he WAS demanding his morning cup!

Pam...What a gorgeous picture of Trevor! He really is a beauty; those eyes! I can't believe he weighs more than the "B-ster!"

Aly...Tell Shiloh that Mr. B says it will be painless! After a while, they'll be best buds. Go little Julius. He is such a little doll

Sandra...please post a picture of Mr. B with his lion cut!! I'd love to see it. My daughter's ragdoll, Gabe, also has his lion cut now. You can see him on my webshots album.
