    GOT A JOB! :D

    YAY! I GOT HIRED! I will start as a cashier and when a position opens up in the horse care or pet care section I will be moved to work in that section. I will be making $8.25/hour (time & a half on sundays and holidays)! I can start saving up to lease a horse now, finally! I have to call them back tomorrow to let them know when I can start, but I am in KY right now.

    YAY! So happy!
    LAURA {Human}, FRANNY {Boxer}, PEANUT, BUSTER, & NIBBLES {Rabbits}

    Thanks Roxyluvsme13!

    Congratulations -- sounds great!
    I'm sometimes asked "Why do you spend so much of your time and money talking about kindness to animals when there is so much cruelty to men?" I answer: "I am working at the roots." -George T. Angell, reformer (1823-1909)

    CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
    If this is your first job, make sure to take a photocopy of your first paycheque. Looking at it decades from now will bring back memories.
    Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!
