    Emma Jean is doing well

My foster Emma, who went to her new home a week and a half ago is doing splendidly. She will be able to keep her name too

this is what the new mom says:

Emma has been enjoying herself. I think she has even put on a little
weight! I have to start watching how much I'm feeding her. Its just that
once she gets up in the afternoon to later afternoon, she wants to eat
whenever she hears any kitchen activity.

And boy is she fast! She skids around the house making these little
pigeon sounds and she likes to slap under the doors. She did try to
sneak out of the house one morning when I was leaving for work, but
she didn't realize that I was already looking for her to do it. I think the squirrels
and other critters look really tempting to her. She likes
to check out what's going on outside through the screen door

What a character she has turned out to be and it sounds as if she is very happy to have her very own home.

That's wonderful news Jen! Thanks for sharing.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Oh Jen, that's such wonderful news! It always makes me happy when the new meowmies take the time to let you know how things are going, and you let us know, so I can only imagine how happy it makes you to know your babies are doing good and truly have found their furrever homes.

Jen, isn't is nice to know that all your hard work with all of your foster's pays off. I don't think there is much else in the world that can make a foster mommy like you feel any better about the work you do than getting such a wonderful note from Emma Jean's "forever mommy".

    Great and rewarding news!
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers
