    Pics of Tigger

His ear is still healing, but it has improved tremendously. He even has a beautiful color of orange that shows through after he had his bath.

OMG, bless his heart. I know he has improved some but he still looks so bad. I hope you can arrange to get him checked out by a vet, especially since so many offered to help.

Thanks for helping the poor guy and sharing the pictures. Please keep us updated.

I agree with jazzcat. Poor Tigger truly needs to be seen by a Vet. I was one of those who offered to help monetarily, and the offer still stands. Please - get him to a Vet, or give him to someone ele who will.

I really bless you for trying to help Tigger, but he really does need to be seen by a vet. You shouldn't be able to see the haw of his eyes like that. It's not just his ear, he looks sick.
It's so hard to look at those pictures. It just breaks my heart thinking what this poor, precious little boy must be going through.

I can only echo the thoughts expressed already. You have done and are doing so much for this sweet guy, but he really does need to see the vet. We've offered our financial help which is about all we can do from afar. It sounds like you really love this guy so please, try and make the time to get him to the vet or to the shelter where his injuries can be looked after.

Again, we're not trying to make you feel bad because you've done so much for him already. Thank you.

I don't want to scare you away or make you feel unwelcomed here, but you have a whole group of people here willing to contribute money to get you and Tigger to the vet - not doing so is just not fair.

I know you're doing a great thing by looking after him, but he is not well and he needs professional help. PLEASE TAKE HIM IN!

Echoing what everyone's said so far..Tigger needs to be looked at by a vet. Please accept the offers of help and get Tigger looked at. If you PM all who've offered help financially with the vet's address etc. chances are that with all the good hearts here, Tigger will be fully cared for.

I totally agree with EVERYONE about taking him to the vet. Mary, when is the next available time I can bring him to Columbia to have him checked out? Thank you to everyone for the support!

I can get him in to a vet Mondays thru Thursdays. I drop the cat off in the AM, pick up at 4:30 PM. The rescue/shelter is open from noon until 8 PM Monday thru Friday and from noon to 4 on Saturday & Sunday.

The rescue/shelter does not do anything but shots. They contract with vets in the area who are willing to cut rates for them. It can be a long wait to see a vet if you go thru them.

I can keep the cat over night if needed. And my vet works with me on rates too.

I am not on the computer from 4:30 on Friday until 8 AM Monday.
But the shelter can call me; they have my home number.

What time next Tuesday or Wednesday do you think I could bring him? Tuesday, I don't get off of work until 2:15 and Wednesday it would have to be after 2.

Would the shelter be finding him a *inside* home or would I be getting him back? Just curious, cuz either way would be awesome.

If you want to get Tigger back from the shelter, you would need to pay $89.00. Otherwise they will find him a home. They push for inside homes, but I can't guarantee that's what he would get.

If you want to keep him, we can skip the shelter. The vet fees will run $120 or more, depending on what needs to be done. The $120 includes all tests, combo shot, rabies, neutering and anesthesia. Several Pet Talkers have offered to help pay vet bills, so that's covered either way.

I will be working until 4:30 all week. I will PM my work number so you can contact me directly to set up a time and place to meet.

I'll go ahead and leave it to the shelter to find him a good home. I think that would be best for him, even though I hate to give him up. I'll give you a call tomorrow.
