The Chris Cagle, himself! Hehe, I met him for the 2nd time, and it was just AWESOME! Here's what happened, and here are two pictures:
Chris remembered me, he just knew my face, but couldn't remember my name:
It went like this... I walked in and say hi to Chris, and he smiled and I said "I don't know if you'd remember me, but here's the pic from the toledo show that you can sign" and Chris goes "Hey! I do remember you, how have you been?", and he smiled as he said that and I just smiled back and I go "pretty good" and he goes "your name, it's.." (he's like, trying to remember it) and I go "Rachel" and he goes "Yeah, that's it, Rachel. Now, it's.. R A C H E L?" and i go "You got it" and he signed it and I told him it was great to have him back - I told him I wrote something for him and I hope he would like it, and it was the thing I wrote in his version of "Chicks Dig It" but differently. He liked the Garth Brooks part, LOL!! Then showed him the t-shirt I was wearing, and he goes "Wow!" and he reads the back of my tshirt, outloud and he said that was pretty cool and he liked it. I smiled and told him thanks and it's what I have in my folders for college. It helps me.. and it's picture time, and I stand next to Chris, and Chris goes "No, Rachel, don't stand there, stand in front of me" (he points where he wanted me to stand) so I go and stand in front of him, and he smiled and wrapped his arms around me and put his head on top of my head.
After that, I thanked him, and asked if I could hug him and he goes "You didn't have to ask" and hugged me and I said "Welcome back" again and that was it. It was a pretty cool meet & greet!
I am seeing him again next Sunday (the 15th) and on the 26th! I am SO looking foward to them!
Chris rocked as usual! I think the best part of the concert was him singing "Drift Away", "Rocket Man", and "I Breathe In, I Breathe Out".. man, the concert was AMAZING!!!
