Lefty likes the cheapest rubber squeakies we can find. I spent so much money on those "smart dog"-type toys, and he doesn't give a flip about them. I also bought a couple of expensive plush toys with the selling point that they had no stuffing and you could buy replaceable squeakers for them, but he tore them to bits in no time--I refused to patch them more than once. Now I have all these leftover squeakies--I've thrown a couple into one or two of my husband's old socks and they lasted a day or so. I'm not inclined to make him anything more fancy when he just shreds it!

We noticed he seemed to like the cheap toys the best, so that's all we buy now. His favorite toy right now is this ugly red rubber hedgehog squeaky toy that my husband picked up on an aisle end cap at the hardware store.

Priya loves anything soft, that she can tear apart
It's frustrating sometimes because she tends to go after all the cat toys (catnip mice, pillows, etc) and she tears them up! She will not chew on her chew toys, but will chew on stuffed animals. She also likes this rubber squeaky toy, but again...it's something that's easily shredded

    What to do?

Major doesn't really like toys...only sometimes. He does like the rope one he got from the gift swap though! He doesn't care for balls too much. He likes rubber ok, not always though. He does love bones though!
