    Poor Peanut Butter

I took these pictures while Peanut Butter was sicky poo. I'm happy to say that he is almost 100% now. He still has a scab over his eye but he is quit normal. So much so that he wouldn't hold still for a picture of him tonight!

This is when he was really down and hurting. Poor baby! But even in this condition he still managed to beat the tar out of me and hubby! BRAT!

    The next day

Still feeling bad and mad that I walk by and squirt him with medicine! hehe

Day four his eye is finally starting to open and he is pretending to be an oriental kitty. At least half of one anyway!

I really did feel very sorry for him. His eye was so swollen.

He finally starts improving and gets out of his sick bed (chair)

I am now back to getting Peanut Butter hugs and he looks almost normal again. Poor boy was really down for a few days. He doesn't deal well with pain. You know how those big boys are...all tough looking but really big wimps!

I'm glad to be getting my hugs again and I'm glad I don't have to "squirt" him anymore and make him totally dislike me!

oooowwwwiiieee!!! Oh my gosh he looks so pitiful The first picture - except that you said he was acting puny - I can't tell he is injured at all - but the others... oh poor baby Peanut Butter. Has he been licking off the medicine??? It is pretty amazing that his body has healed so nicely. I probably would have just cried to see him hurt, though. Do you think it was an animal bite or scratch from a fight? I hope the other guy looked much worse
Well, glad he is looking so much better and actinfg normally right??? Also good to hear you are getting your PB hugs again - that is a good sign
    GET ALL BETTER BIG BOY!!!!

Debbie I guess he licked off of his medicine. He would just glare at me when I would squirt him. I would just leave him to his sick bed because if I stayed he would get up and go hide. He was so mad at me for awhile. He really did feel bad and I'm sure it was from pain. I know that had to hurt so bad. I still have no idea what happened to him and I'm only guessing it was a fight. I've even tried to figure out if he got into it with one of the crew in the house but there has been no excess fur which is usually the first sign. No one else seems hurt so I'm stumped and can only figure it must have been outside and it took a few days for the abscess to come to a head. At any rate I'm so glad he is better and he is complaining and wanting to go back out again. NO WAY HOSE!!!
He looks so different with his mane gone and his eye all pulled up on one side! I'm glad I'm finally getting my old Peanut Butter back again! Poor boy.

Poor boy, I'm glad his eye is doing better. His eye was nasty looking there for a while.

Poor PB!! That wound looks mighty painful, poor guy. I'm glad to see he's doing better. That last pictures looks much better than the others.

He's not the first to be mad at mommy for giving him a dose of medicine for his own good that he did not agree with. I bet he's grateful now .
