How old were your cats when you got them & how old are they now?

I was wondering how old all of your cats were when you first got them, and also how old they are now!

Tigger was a stray, so I would guess he was about 5-7 weeks old when we got him, he is now 6 years old, will be 7 in October

How about you all?

Ripley - got him at 7 weeks - now he's 12 years old
Jazz - got her at around 14 weeks - now she is just over 2 years old
Scout - got her at 6-9 mos. (guess) and I'll have had her for 1 year on July 17th

So Disney won't feel neglected - got her at 1 year or so of age and now she is 12+ years old.

Duffy - was 6 months old - now 6 years
Reese - she was 4 months - now 3 years
Abby - was 8 weeks - will be 2 years in August
Grady - he was 5 months old - now 14 months
Red - Vet figures he was 7 - and he still is!

I got Samantha at 8 weeks old and she just celebrated her 16th Birthday a few days ago.

Skinny ... 1 yr old this past Sept when we took him into house. ...going to be 2 yrs old in Sept

Thumper... 3 yrs old when we adopted her.. she is now 5 yrs old

Eleanor... 3 yrs old in April ... still 3 yrs old

Rainbow Butterscotch... 2-3 yrs old ( vet guess) when we took him in and he would of been 7 yrs old last week. He was with us almost 5 yrs it would of been end of May.

Yes, I got to pick out Samantha as a free kitten as a pre-engagement present.
You really have to come to Vermont to see Samantha's kitten photos. She used to fit inside my husband sneakers!
Sallyanne, Cookiebaker and Barbara have all seen Samantha's kitten photos when I met with them in person.

Corkscrew was around a year (maybe a little younger) when I got him and he's now about three years old. Tibby was about 3 months old when I got her and she's two now

Maggie was only 8 wks when she became apart of our family..

and is only 1 yrs old when she left us..

Abby was 9 months to a year old - she's now 9

Hanna was 8-9 weeks - she's now 2

Chester was about 2 months, now he is 2 years..

Amy was exactly 2 months, now 11 months

Giz had to be about 6 weeks when my son got her and she is about 9 to 10 months..

My newest baby Midnight, I just got and I guess she is 1 to 1 1/2 years. (But, she has been sitting on MY doorstep since she was about 2 months, begging to be MY baby! The Lord finally agreed to let us be together!)

Scampers- I got her when I married my husband, she was his cat, she was 7 then and now is 11.
Oliver was 6 months and is now 3 years
Raisin was around 2 months and now is 2 years
Roxy was 5 years and is now 7 years
Jimmy was 6 weeks and is now 1 1/2 years
Sundae was 6 months and is now 1 1/2 years
Rav was 5 weeks and just turned 1 year

These are all approximate, they are all rescues and I don't know any of there exact ages.

Emily & Eliot were about 8-10 weeks - now 1 1/2
Dylan was 1 1/2 and now 2

RB Ernie was about 8 weeks and died at age 16
RB Bert was about 3-4 and died at about 17-18

I think Stubby was six weeks old when I got him, I got him after my dad died, and I would say in January of 98, it was cold weather I know. I just can't remember the exact month.

Grover was about two weeks old when I got her last year in April, so she is one year and a couple months old. I think. LOL, me and my memory. The way I can tell about her, is looking at my checkbook and seeing when I bought orpan kitten's milk.

All of my furkids are rescues and I only know Cirrus's actual birthday so the rest are guesses.

Storm- adopted at 1 year now 8 years old
Sunny- adopted at 8 months now almost 4 years old- his birthdays in late August
Cirrus- adopted at 8 months old and now 2 years old
Sky- adopted at 1 year old and now 2 years old

RB Pepper- adopted at 9 weeks old and lived to be almost 6 years old
