I have been quarantining Milton since I got him on June 28th. I planned to quarantine him for 30 days, but I had to make a decision. Evie should be coming home very soon, which would mean four bird cages in my little house. I'm not worried about the cages, but I am worried about the amount of space between the cages. Here's the situation... I had Milton in my room, Danny in the living room, and Alex in the backroom/laundry room. The vet wants Alex and Danny to have a least a few rooms between them to discourage egg laying. My room is close to the living room so I worried it wasn't much of a quarantine. I KNOW Evie was exposed to a bacterial infection and even though she has been treated I want to keep her very far from Alex, Danny & Milton at the beginning.
Anyway long story short, I have begun to introduce Danny and Milton. I hope they will be living together by the time Evie comes home so I can properly quarantine her. Milton is eating normally, pooping normally, acting normally, and sleeping normally. I really didn't want to cut his quarantine short, but I thought it was best. No real point to this thread, just thought I'd see what anyone had to say about it.![]()
