    A stray...

There's a stray cat (not very old at all) hanging around my apartment building, and he/she is soo cute! I just wish I could take it in, I am really seriously debating taking it in to work to be neutered and vaccinated, this cat is just so sweet. I am not supposed to have anymore animals in the apartment, but I was thinking my mom could possibly take him in, I say him, I don't know it's a him though, lol. Anyway, I took some pictures of him today! He's just so sweet! Well, here they are! (Oh and I'm Nicknaming him Ash, after my apartment building, Ashewood) The first two are my favorites!

    Meowing!

    Look how adorable he is!!!

Awwww what an adorable kitty!!! The markings remind me a bit of my Ilio. ^_^ I think it would be a good idea to get him/her fixed and vaccinated at least.

Thanks you guys, I do appreciate the advice, keep it coming, I sure miss having a cat, really bad. It's nice that he/she is already older, but not too old, I'm guessing around 6 months at least. If he's out in the am sometime this week I'm gonna put him in my small carrier and take him in. I hope that it all works out! Oh please let it work out! lol

I think my biggest worry with the kitty being in the apartment is that's it's so small and the dogs would probably give it a hard time. I wish I had a home! Man oh man... lol At least if mom kept him for me, once I do get a house, in a year or so, I could get him back, just like Niki! I'm excited actually, I have always wanted to at least rescue at cat, even if I can't have it.

YES, it IS a sweet kitty, so cute! YES! Catch it and get it fixed and shots and find it a home if you can't keep it. The outside world is so cruel to God's little creatures and it is to cute to have to suffer through one minute of that kind of life. To bad you can't keep it and you never know.. My daughter brought in a infant kitty baby and she raised it with her already big dog, both inside. They still bathe each other, even now. One swipe with that big dog tongue and the kitty would go flying until the dog learned to be more gentle and the kitten grew up.

What a sweet looking little kitty! he looks like he's got a touch of meezer in him maybe? Vaccinating and altering him is certainly a good idea at least to protect him from viruses. Hope your mom can take him in for you. Are there any co-workers that would be willing to at least foster him?

I hope you can trap him and get him his shots and have him neutered. If you or you Mom can't keep him, are there any no-kill shelters in your area? He shouldn't have any trouble at all finding a loving family. Or the vet who neuters him might know of a family looking for a new baby to love.

Thank you so much everyone! I will see if someone at the clinic can foster him or may even want him, I know I would love to keep him. I may even try it and see how it goes, I don't think he'll be hard to get, just the whole fact of hoping he's around. He is really friendly, doesn't seem wild at all. Oh and I see that he has a small wound, like a scratch on his shoulders, it's not too big or infected looking but it makes me want to get him in soon, very soon, I hope he's out Monday morning and I can take him in then. I'll keep you guys posted!

AWWWWWWWWW how could you NOT help this little baby.
I also gave him/her about 5-6 months of age.

I hope and pray that all works out for you.

Are you putting food and water out for him/her. This will certainly encourage the little one to stick around.

Please keep us updated on what happens.

What a sweet little one!! I really hope you can take him/her in, or your mother will! He/she already seems very trusting - and who can resist that smile!

I took some more pictures of the little Girl! lol I think it's a girl, pretty sure. She let me pick her up, I just picked her up to put her back onto the top of the mailboxes. I plan to go to WalMart and get some food and a little kitty dish to put up there with her. That's where she's been all day. I've been washing my hands really well, I'm a worry wart, but as you can probably tell from the pictures she looks to be in good health, no drainage, no sneezing, or anything, just that wound in between her shoulders.

Here's the pictures, I keep on going to see her, I'm already so attached, gosh! lol

Oh and I live about 20 mins from Greensboro, NC.

Please help that poor baby! An aprtment complex is not a safe place for a little one to run outside. There has to be so much traffic. I can see why you have fallen for her already and it looks like she has fallen for you!!!

Awwwww! She looks a bit like my Marley. And they were both strays! I hope she finds a home with you or another loving family. I love this pic.
