    Happy Canada Day!!!

    CANADA IS 137 YEARS OLD TODAY!!! SO I THOUGHT I WOULD MAKE A POST JUST REMINDING EVERYONE!!

    In the early 1500s, Jacques Cartier used a First Nations word for village, “kanata”, to refer to the country he had encountered.

    European map makers later used “Canada” as a name for all the land north of the St. Lawrence River.

    Canada was home to aboriginal peoples for thousands of years before the arrival of the Europeans, and so it's appropriate that the name should come from their language.

    From Victoria British Columbia, Banff and Jasper Alberta, to Niagara Falls Ontario, Canada has to be the most amazingly beautiful country. So I salute you Oh' Canada, and all your forests, wonderful people, and wildlife. O' and dont forget the beer .

    Anyone doing anything interesting? There's s'posed to be a little event type thing at the PNE but it sounds boring haha.

    I'm not joining the crowds at the celebrations today at all. My friend and I are going to see the 4:40pm show of Garfield. Can hardly wait.

    I couldent believe noone made a post for Canada's 137th birthday!! ugh, thats rude!! lol..

    Well i am going to go and watch the fire works tonight at 10:30, should be fun. Then I have to get up real early tomorrow and goto work... yes have a job haha.
