My bunny bites me any time i try to pe t it any lower than its backbone.but i can pet its nose and mouth area without it biting is this normal?

Actually that is perfectly normal. Most bunnies loooooove to be patted on the nose. The rest of the bunny has to wait until you have the bunny's trust.

My rabbit Freckles (he was pet of the day once) loves to be pet, but sometimes if you try to give hi food and he feels territorial he sometimes threatens to bite.

Karen is right. I have a rabbit and I couldn't do anything with her untill I gained her trust. Now I can pick her up and lay her down on her back, on the floor! She will stay there! Just don't make any sudden movement around your rabbit. Avoid scarrying her in anyway. You could even try hand feeding her her greens to help gain her trust.
