    Puppy rescued from bridge

When we were driving home from town we saw a puppy hanging of the bridge, his feet keeping him from falling of the bridge. The puppy was stuck inbetween the cement walls and the medal bars. Sara and I made my mom pull over and we went to help it. I walked up slowly so it wouldn't get scared and slip. When we got to it I pet it a little and I grabed its chest. Some other people saw and came to help. Sara held the puppys front end while I lifted up its back legs (it was stuck inbetween by its shoulders) I lifted up its back end and the puppy slide out.

When we got it back to the park it was shaking and panting so my mom brought some water for it. The puppy apeard to be uninjured and a couple months old, maybe a sheltie. A construction worker called the pound and they came and took the puppy. The people who came and got the dog said that they knew the dog because they had got it off the street once before. I hope that the owners DONT claim it because it doesnt sound like the pup is being very well takin care of if he is alould to wander off.

Best wishes to the rescued pup.

So glad you saw the poor pup!

Poor little thing and so lucky you were there at the right time to prevent the pup from falling to it's possible death! I hope they don't claim the puppy too. Sound like irresponsible owners to me. Good job!

my family and i found a 8 month old dog running on the side of the road. when we aproched the puppy it was scard really bad and scared.the puppy semed to be a boxer, it had no name tag so we brought it to animal rescue, and left her there for 5 days. then they called us and said if no one takes her we will put her to sleep. So our family talked it over and so the next day we went to animal rescuse and picked her up now she is 2 years old now and very very happy and she is our baby!
