Split Nails! *worried*

Kittyrat went to the vet today.
He's in the clear. No parasites, no lukemia, no ear mites.
He weighs 1 pound 10 ounces (he's gained a pound).
He also had his shots and all that jazz done.
The vet showed me how to clip kitty claws.

So, here's the problem.
He HATED the car ride over and back.
On the way over, a few of his nails chipped, and a couple had blood streaks. He also tore a piece of the outer skin off his nose.

On the way BACK, he ended up making TWO of his claws split. They were already trimmed so they're short, AND they're split almost all the way down!

What do I do?
I would call the vet, but I just noticed it about an hour ago, and they're closed tomorrow and on monday for the holiday.

First off, i'm glad to hear that Kittyrat got a clean bill of health.

Secondly, i'm sorry I can't give you any advice on what to do with the nails as I have never experienced this before myself.

Are they bleeding and is there an emergency vet you can call?

I'm sure someone on PT with experience will tell you what you can do to put your mind at ease.
