the verdict is out

on whether Pouncer is just PRETENDING to feel sick!

Someone hired a private eye (possibly Allen from A&P investigations?) to prove to me that Pouncer was feeling just fine.

I found these photos on my desk this morning:

How could I argue with facts like that staring at me? I certainly don't see a wounded kitty anywhere in these pictures. Is he pretending to be hurt for my sympathy? Is that why he's kept the bandage on like a good boy? Oh Pouncer what is going on?!?

PS: please pay no attention to the black sander case and wall patch tub... I was doing extensive spring cleaning yesterday and left it on the sill last night.

Pouncercertainly does not seemed to have laerned his lesson , and you will somehow have tosecure the window! Pouncer angel , is glad that he is healing!

Pouncer you are pure nawtee! I think your pulling some leg around your house! I bet you make those sweet little faces, and meow in pain while holding your sad little bandaged paw in the air so you can get all that attention!!
I think maybe Dudley the Duck took your picture so he could throw all the suspicion off of himself. I'm sure there was a fly or something and you just had a momentary lapse of pain.

You could say that again! He HAD to get a mosquito that was trapped in between the screen and window. He DOES hold his widdle owie up in the air and limps something awful... when I'm looking. Wwhen he thinks I'm busy elsewhere, he's running a mile a minute on three legs and keeping the paw out of the way. The moment I turn my head, that paw goes to the floor for a pretty pathetic limp.
