    what I HATE about puppys.....

    They GROW UP! Elvis is getting so big, day by day.

    I have this bracelet thingy, and his neck was small enough to fit around it, but not anymore!

    Elvis 8wks- day home



    12wks (3months)- Elvis now

    You can tell he is getting more whiter around the mouth and legs.


    why can't they stay little forever? Why?! before I know it he will be celebrating his 1st birthday

    WHOA!! This thread threw me!

    Just think..they do grow fast, but there's more to love then! And I appreciate the fact that they aren't in that chew everything in sight phase anymore.

    I understand that. The first time I met Gigi...she is only a bit longer than my palm. But now?????????? She is soooooooo looooooooooooooooooooooooooong.

    I thought you were going to say you hate how they chew and tear everything up and have accidents in the house or something. Atleast something along the negative side...lol


    I know it's hard to watch them grow up! I was just looking at little Honey pictures the other day and came across her first collar. I was able to fit it around her nose and mouth up to her jawline and that was it....i was just trying to see how much it could fit. I then unbuckled it and it won't even touch end to end. How time flies!! And now with Chloe growing up so fast too! It's all very enjoyable to watch though! You see your babies grow!

    It is sad seeing them grow up, but it's also wonderful!

    They don't need constant supervision.
    They don't chew up everything in sight.
    They don't bite like they did with those razor sharp puppy teeth.
    You can take them so many more places than you could when they were puppies.
    No more up to go out at 2 am...then again at 4 am

    There are so many more reason I could list.

    But I'll never miss those puppy days either

    I know what you mean, Jasper was 11 pounds when we got him and now hes 42 and I still can't believe that we had him for 6 months!!!

    But I actually couldn't wait for him to grow up and mature a bit because he was so bad, we could not walk the floor without him biting out legs and feet, even ripping our pants/socks, he has matured alot since hes hit 7-8 months, and its a real relief!

    RIP Jasper. I can't believe you're gone.

    Elvis is soooo cute! I have two puppies right now. Bichon/Shihtzu crosses. They are now 7 months old and into lots of trouble! Teddy likes to steal anything and everything. The other day my sister in law was visiting and left her purse on the phone. Before I knew it he had chewed her cell phone and her lip gloss. I won't miss the chewing stage! But they are sooo cute and a lot of fun.
